Our customers expect a variety of options and creative environment with leaders who provide an array of customizations.Īs this is a small showroom with only a few staff, the Light-Smith will also learn about the hardware we have to offer so that he/she can help with general sales as needed. First and foremost, our customers are our lifeline, many of them have been coming to our store for years and have become friends, because of what we offer and how we take care for them. Manufacturing and electrical experience is also required, along with a friendly disposition and a customer service-oriented attitude. Knowledge of safe tool care and practices is required. This process generally includes laying out components, tube cutting, coloring for finish desired, satin finish or polishing, wiring and final assembly. Our lighting is custom made-to-order working with the customers exacting needs or design, precision and safety, one at a time. The position requires general manufacturing, but this is not an assembly-line type of position. Strong self-management skills are also necessary. The right candidate will be detail orientated, professionally mannered, and creatively thoughtful. This is a relatively flexible position, preferring a 4-5 day work week, up to 35 hours/week.
